Where will you sail first?

We are at the helm of Sailing Adventures and are excited and enthusiastic about the future. We are planning many great adventures and experiences and are kitted up and ready to set sail when we can cast off the lines and head to lands near and far.

This year, we can look forward to holidaying at home with QLD Tourism preparing to support the opening up of tourism experiences and events in QLD. Cruise the Whitsundays, the Fraser Coast and Moreton Bay. Join us for sailing around these beautiful locations enjoying local cuisine, great scenery, good company and engaging with the wildlife under and below the surface. Further details to follow. Sailing regattas may still happen. Hamilton Island Race Week and Airlie Beach Race Week (August) are intending to proceed unless otherwise advised.

We are confident that we will be full steam ahead in 2021 for domestic adventures. Hopefully the international borders will have re-opened by then. We plan to kick off the year with a series of 7-day Food, Wine & History tours by boat around the fantastic waters of Hobart, arguably the boutique food & wine capital of Australia. We will incorporate visits to great wineries and food excursions into areas not normally traveled by tourists.

An exciting addition to the program will be the America’s Cup in Auckland in March. Plans are coming together so stay tuned for more details.

Croatia & Montenegro in May & June are on the top of our overseas radar for 2021, following our Food, Wine & History tour of Le Canal du Midi in early May. Returning from the Mediterranean will see us heading north in late July for the northern regatta season of Brisbane to Keppel, Airlie Beach Race Week & Hamilton Island Race Week.

September & October will see us back in the Med. This time to Spain (the Balearic Islands of Mallorca & Menorca) and back to Croatia (including the Kornati Islands) and Montenegro. Following our return, it’s off to the Asian regatta circuit and back to Oz for the pre-Christmas and Hobart season.

Until our next bulletin, stay safe, stay well, and stay the course. There is so much to look forward to. If you have any queries or are interested in any of our trips for this year or next, please get in touch.
