Your hosts Brian ‘Pozz’ Pozzey and wife Cath Lacey form an ideal partnership of experienced sailing skills and hospitality expertise, ensuring guests are looked after from arrival to departure on our Sailing Adventures.

Brian, an RYA Commercial Yacht Master, has sailed from the age of eleven in all kinds of boats from small dinghies, racing skiffs, trailer sailers to offshore racing yachts. He has competed in most of the great offshore keel-boat races in his long career as well as cruised some of the greatest sailing destinations in the world.

Cath, a former ranked tennis player has been involved in hospitality and tourism for many years since her return to Australia after studying Business at the University Of Utah in the USA on a tennis scholarship.

She is the ‘lynch pin’ of Sailing Adventures, with her passion for creating unique experiences for her guests is second to none.

Brian is also a qualified chef, former TV chef and cooking presenter.
For over 30 years he has owned and run restaurants, catering businesses and been a food consultant.

The time came to combine both these passions to create, with his wife Cath, the “Sailing Adventures” business to enable people who are looking for “The Road Less Travelled“. Combining a love for adventure, great hospitality, a yearning to sample the great local cuisines of the world and try local produce and wines from some of the most exciting regions around the world.
